Learning punctuation
Hi, everyone! Here is my little fictional story, in which I tried to use correct punctuation.
My alarm went off, I woke up, made a beeline ti the bathroom, and then finally went out. I took the bus at the bus stop. It was long, quite ride. When we arrived, I stood up, bought a ticket on my way out, and got out of the bus. “Hi, how are you?”, I suddenly heard behind my back. It was my friend, however, I was in a hurry, so we didn’t talk for too long. Going down the street, I remembered that I had to change adress in my papers to “Miami, Florida.”
-“It’s February 17, 2021, you, silly”, I mumbled to myself.
So, I called Bob Brooks, my manager, ASAP, and told him to change it.
-“If you need something else, let me know”, he said to me, hoping I won’t ask for something else.
-“Twiddling, Bobby, aren’t we? It is actually your work, not mine.”
-“Sorry, boss, had a lot of things to take care of. For instance, other paper work, calls and so on.”
After that, I hang up.
-”I wish you didn’t resign, Jenny. You were much better than this Bob”, I thought to myself, entering the cafe.
I hope, there are no mistakes, or not many of them, at least x)
That was all I had today for you. Thank you for reading. Stay tuned ;)
